Applications
The Los Angeles test is used to determine the resistence of aggregate to abrasion, it comprise a heavy steel cylinder, rotated about its horizontal axis at 30 to 33 rpm and mounted on a substantial base, the cylinder revolves on self aligning bearing and incorporates a removable internal shelf.
